I understand the Mavic 3 pro is better in wind than the mini 4 pro. But by how much? According to the website the max horizontal speed is only 21 m/s and the mini 4 pro is 16 m/s. Maybe an FPV drone would be better for filming in high wind?
Anyways, what I have now for the this trip is the mini 4 pro and it needs to fly in wind between 20 and 30 mph. I am consistently getting a high wind warning. I have been minimizing flying downwind, hoping to limp home. Is there anything I can do to make stronger winds more tolerable eg N versus S mode.
PS: mini 4 pro is my first drone and we are still getting some great shots
PPS: I knew it was an entry level drone when I got it so I am not bitching about it
PPPS: I imagine the manufacturer wants me to immediately land when I get the strong wind warning so no need to remind me of that lol
